Hello and welcome to Michelle Young Financial! I am Michelle Young, Broker/Owner.  I am a California native, born in Redwood City in 1960 and have resided in Calaveras County since 1964. I grew up in Mountain Ranch on 40 acres and moved to Arnold just out of high school.  I started my career as a Real Estate professional in 1985 and was first licensed as a Broker in 1991, subsequently opening my own brokerage, Action Realty, in 1992.  I was one of the top agents in the area for several years, closing an average of 30-40 properties a year - and specializing in 1031 exchanges.   In 1996, I sold Action Realty and shifted my focus to Mortgage lending.  I worked with Sierra Mortgage until opening my own firm this summer in an effort to simplify my business module.

I believe real estate is the best investment vehicle available.  I began personally investing in real estate in 1986, and have bought and sold more than 15 residential properties in 4 states for investment and personal use since that time.  I have built 6 new homes so I'm also familiar with every phase of new construction.  I also have my Series 22 and Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent Licenses in addition to my series 65 license as a USAAA Uniform Securities Financial Advisor.  Taking the time and learning about these amazing new tenant in common investment opportunities has enriched my knowledge and experience as a mortgage broker.
